Most of the phones running android within the last year and a half can run 90% of the apps available on the Market. And most of the handsets are great for their use, rather it be budget smartphone: Optimus 1 family or highend: Droid line or Keyboard: G2 by htc. Developers are flocking to android because it is growing faster then iOS.
Versus IOS devices that can run 100% of the apps?
I'd like to see your numbers as well, as honeycomb is supposed to be where it's headed, and last I checked, there weren't record numbers of developers flocking to that iteration of the OS.

People didn't seem to care about the "gay plague" because it only affected gays. People cared about Ryan White and the Ray brothers, they didn't care about iniquitous obnoxious gays and lesbians.
So then they had sex with the person of opposite gender, they adopted or test tube baby.

I'm assuming that you are talking about ACT UP and their tactics...but iniquitous? Really? A bit dramatic even for you. They did what had to be done in a time when nobody wanted to acknowledge what was happening. And they also tried to fight the ignorance that was associated with the disease..IE..."gay plague". You are evidence that they need to continue their work.
Is a "test tube baby" (I do hope you know there are much more modern ways) by a gay/lesbian any less than that of a straight person? Does it matter how we are having them? The point is that we are. And snide remarks doesn't negate it. I understand that the concept is scary for you and people who think like you. I do hope that you can learn to adapt to our changing world. Because people like you are going to be left behind if you keep thinking and acting this way.

Among other things we basically placed them under an oil embargo their need for natural resources and they're inability to attain them from us in a peaceful manner encouraged them to invade.
Also by your logic we are criminally involved in Iraq at the moment. Seeing as they were not aggressors against us, and we had no reason to invade.
The oil embargo was caused by the invasion of Japan to Indochina.
And yes, if the US invaded Iraq without any reason it would be a crime. This would be a whole new debate about if there were enough reasons to justify the Iraq war.

Hi All,
I have recently run into this weird system font. I have attached a screenshot to show what I mean by the weird error font. I don't remember me doing anything related to the font or the system system but just happened the next day. I have tried to seek for solution online but not successful, perhaps cause i can't explain it in detail.
Please can anyone help and let me know if there is any way that I can reverse it back to default original. Thank you very much.

I have an old hard drive with windows xp, and I was wondering if I could do a boot camp from this hard drive? I have a USB connector for it too. I see lots of threads talking about using an external hard drive, but I thought this was a little different. I also have the old laptop parts too in case they are needed.

I'm looking for a remote app for my iPhone to use mainly for iTunes and Powerpoint. Apps like Rowmote would be fine to use at home since I have a wifi network, but would it work directly with my Mac if there's no wifi network available, maybe using Bluetooth?

That isn't entirely true. iPhone 1,1 (and soon iPhone 1,2) users can't run all apps. Anything that requires 4.0 (probably 4.3~5.0 for iPhone 1,2) won't run. Neither will things that require a certain amount of horsepower (say like Infinity Blade).

I Use the at&t scanner app, and it works great. Did you see if perhaps your lens is dirty, or do the apps just fail to function?

I was curious as to why we can no longer click on a sub-forum link? If I am currently in the "Site and Forum Feedback" forum and want to go to the "Mac Community" sub-forum I cannot, it will only allow me to go back to the main index.
A little confusing I know. Please see the screenshot, I would like to be able to click on the highlighted link.

I look after 250+ macs across 8 advertising companies across 3 countries.
All of them are bound to our AD & use MS Exchange for e-mail. All users login with their AD credentials, map network drives & login & have screen savers etc enforced.
Our environment is 80/20 in favour of PC's, but on a day to day basis the mac users happily work along side the PC users.
We use JAMF Softwares Casper Suite to manage our Macs via policies (incl. application updates) & we're fully SOX compliant.
They can be a great asset to any environment, but if you want just the office suite a PC is the better option.
However, as day to day working becomes more media rich.. the macs are becoming more prominent.
We've very few applications that require windows only, but in those cases there's options like Citrix, CrossOver or a full VM solution that can help too.
So with little research, they can work.
I've been doing IT support for around 8 years, with integrating Macs into windows environments being a speciality.
Have a look at the following for starters:

Why is a calling feature tied to a messaging one?
I'd imagine so it looks like people are getting something for "free" (I'd be willing to bet that most of their customers are already on an unlimited messaging plan, particularly if they're on a family plan) while still maintaining some semblance of profitability for the carrier (messaging plans are generally believed to be pure profit).
I'm excited about this feature, even if I don't truly *need* it. I'm on the lowest-tiered family plan right now and I have literally thousands of rollover minutes. Most of my friends and family are on AT&T (lots of iPhone users) and I don't call anyone all that often anyway. However, it's always nice to have yet another feature that establishes peace of mind. Plus, I hope this is the first in a long line of steps to reduce the overall cost of monthly service for AT&T users (unlikely, but I can dream...and perhaps a massive deflection to Verizon will help speed things along).
Plus, it's just another choice for users. I may not use my phone as a phone all that often, but lots of AT&T users do. I bet this reduces the overall cost of a plan for some iPhone users, particularly those on a family plan.

Obviously you have difficulty dealing with people that disagree with you.
Once again, I am not siding with the seller. His selling privileges will be rightfully revoked. He clearly violated eBay's terms of service.
But he doesn't belong in jail....at least not for this offense.
