Yes, the colors, contrast and clarity that is possible - and more or less expected - is getting unreal indeed. It gets in the way of the content of the picture sometimes, too much nit-picking over Photoshop stuff...
One other suggestion! YOu may want to build a "bird mask" using the select color tool. and then apply that above the NI'd image.
This will some of the noise in the bird but will add detail in the bird. The select color range tool will give a semi transparent selection so it will kind of give you the best of both worlds than a straight select tool.
Also you could use Q and do a qick mask then use a semi transparent brush to select the bird to do the same things as color range select.

What GLUS said is right but the problem is that it was lost 15 years back . There might not be computerized records from that time or if by luck there are they must be archived that there would be no way to retreive them.
Try harder to get any kind of records that you or your lawyer or anyone else in your family might have as additional proof.
And file for the documents as mentioned above . God knows you might get lucky !

I filed on my own and I actually flew to Nebraska Svc Center and had it delivered through a messenger at 8.05 am. No updates so far. Checks have not been cashed. I haven't called USCIS since I did not want to burden them.
Your question has been answered numerous times already but to answer your question, if your lawyer filed the app on your behalf then he would get the notice (based on form G28). If not, you would get it.

But until the politics goes to the hands of real patriots, the growth rate will be less and may even turn back to poverty again and the politicians family will become the richest persons in Asia. I mom is from Nepal and Dad from India. Marriages between India and nepal is very common in my place, as we are border state. even my brother is married to nepali citizen and we have all my maternal family in Nepal.
I was born in Nepal, but my parents never thought that getting nepali passport would matter, as we were in India. On passport and other documents my I put India as my birth place and no one ever asked for proof of birth place in India back then.
Now for GC, i would need proof of birth( which i have, but from nepal) and that doesnt match my passport.
Would it be advisable to correct my place of birth in Indian passport and all the records now? Can I have "nepal" as my place of birth in indian passport? Will be be still considered Indian citizen?
How does all this affect my GC process? Any unseen dangers/after affects/side effects. please give your suggestions.

You could make up a job description that got through labor cert, but for which you don't have the qualifications for. You can concurrent file I140/I485 and get EAD even though your application has no chance of passing. If your lawyer is OK with it - after all, why do they care as long as they get the fee - you have just wasted USCIS' time.

I was asked more info regarding my company and all of the company documents. I wasnt being sarcastic or anything i am just trying to understand what is going on.

My 180 days have been passed. My Career was stagnated from last 6 years. I joined a consulting company and asked him the same title as my Labor. At the client I am now IT Director. Who cares? for USCIS, I am still a Sys Admin, but in real world, I am IT Director and people are reporting to me. Wow, what a difference this AC21 brings in!

USCIS has updated the processing dates pages of all the four service centers on September 28. Now the pages say that these dates are valid as of July 31, 2008 only.
If I remember well the processing dates information was more up-to-date earlier.
So looks like CIS has backtracked from their earlier published dates. They are telling us that they simply cannot tell what the current processing dates are. All they can tell us is that what applications they were processing on July 31.
What can we deduce from this? Is it good? Is it bad? Or no relevance?
It could be good as CIS might be processing July 2007 485 applications as of today? Or may be not.
Simply more confusion, as if as it is we were not confused enough.
Its hard to gauge what they are trying to do here by mentioning that the processing dates are accurate only as of July 31, 2008. But just attempting to make a few guesses. I might be totally wrong though

And hence keep the web posting data perpetually at a older date, so that if some official corners them they can say "Oh, forget the web data, it is out of date. Hi,
Have a query in regard to the H1B Visa status. Would it be ok to work for a different branch of the same company, when my unit is not able to provide me with the required number of hours/week. I work for a hospital as a physcial therapist, and am having trouble maintaining the full time hrs, Other units of the same hospital are desperately in need of the therapists.(But working for them would be under different tax id and also would be a seperate pay check, but the same hospital though).
Any answers would be highly appreciated.

You should not have to pack up your belongings just yet. Chapter 10.5(b)(3) of the USCIS Adjudicator's Field Manual states:"Responses are timely filed if they are received by mail no more than three days after the due date, as provided for at 8 CFR 103.5(b) ." As long as USCIS receives your RFE response today or tomorrow, there ought not to be any problem. Also, because the "deadline" of July 10th fell on a Saturday there is a required automatic extension to Monday.
For future reference, here are a few things to keep in mind regarding USCIS filing deadlines:
1. "Filed" = actually received by USCIS. post marks or airbills showing date sent do not matter
2. USCIS generally will not accept mail or courier deliveries on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal holidays.
3. Saturdays, Sundays and Federal holidays must be included when calculating time periods.
4. However, if the deadline actually falls on a Saturday, Sunday or Federal holiday, the deadline is extended to the next day that is not a Saturday, Sunday or Federal holiday. 8 CFR �1.1(h).

The reason I ask is, someone sent me this from the NAFSA Adviser's Manual (2006 release) (check the last point) -
7.27.2.1 Exception for travel to Canada or Mexico for 30 days or less
Under the "automatic extension of validity at ports-of-entry" provision, an H-IB alien may reenter the U.S. after a trip solely to Canada or Mexico that lasted no more than 30 days, without the need to obtain a new H-IB visa, even if the individual's prior H-IB visa has expired.
H-1B automatic revalidation different than that for F and J nonimmigrants
F and J nonimmigrants can use the automatic revalidation of visa provision not only after a trip to Canada and Mexico, but after a trip to the islands in the Caribbean as well. H-lB travel under this provision is limited to Canada and Mexico only.

Continued validity of H visas after employer change If the H-IB worker has changed employers since first entering the United States and has a valid visa annotated for the previous employer, he or she may reenter the U.S. using that visa, provided he or she presents a valid H-IB approval notice for the new employer upon reentry to the United States.

She can't renew her H1B after 6 years. She can work using EAD or choose not to work. No need for H4 also. If you want a cover for you, she need to file PERM for her to start a process for her. No other way for cover. If you work for sponsoring employer, your H1B is still valid, eventhough you enter with AP.
